I was on a mission to find a pistol that my GF could operate. She's small, not real strong and has pins in her wrist from an accident. She tried all of my pistole and revolvers and couldn't find one that she was comfortable using. The DA pull was too heavy on the revolvers, and they were heavy for her, even the snubbies. She could rack the slides on a few of the 9mm's (after they were empty and cleared) but it wasn't fun to watch. We stumbled onto the S&W EZ 380 at a local gun store and it was perfect. She is a novice shooter but has taken to this pistol. The slide is easy for her to rack, and the recoil is like a 22lr. While the sights were very good, I did add a red dot sight to the pistol. It was easy to install using a rear sight dovetail mounting plate. This really cut down some of the training time it takes to get accurate shots. We are still training but it goes better when they can see good results IMO. The whole package was a great deal. The five mags really help at the range, keeping her shooting and then we both load. These mags load very easy due to the fact that they have external tabs like a 22lr magazine. I even bought a cheap loading tool to help her compress the already easy to load mags. every little bit helps. And when she's ready, she will have spare mags loaded. The only thing not great was the range bag. It's a double pistol bag and it is nice but more than is required for this med. size pistol accessories and mags. I am going to keep it and get her something else so it not a deal breaker at all. One other thing Gunprime is a really great company to work with. They had the best pricing on this bundle and when my firearm arrived there was only 3 mags. An email to Gunprime and the two mags where on the way! Also, no state sales tax. Ill be checking Gunprime first for all my online gun purchases.
